Is the district still on distance learning?
- Our school district returned to in-person instruction with the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
What if I still want my student to remain on distance learning instead of returning to in-person classes?
- If a student has an IEP, this would be considered a change of placement and an IEP meeting must be held before the child can go to an alternative education program. Please contact your student's IEP case manager if you are interested in this option. Please be aware that it may take several weeks for an IEP meeting to be held and your student should still attend their IEP placement in the interim.
Is Alternative Education right for every student?
- If your student is not able to function independently in front of a computer, they may need a more structured, school based, in - person program in order to receive educational benefit
