Related to Mandated School Closure Due to COVID-19

Brentwood Union School District highly values the work provided to our students and staff by substitute employees. We know these are extremely difficult times for everyone and want you to know that your service is vital to our district.

The changes because of school closures and the move to distance learning has significantly impacted our need for substitutes in all job classifications. We want you to know that these changes have no reflection on the value we place on your role.

Below are answers to the most common questions we have received to date. We continue to monitor the submission of questions and will update this document as needed.

Thank you for your service to Brentwood Union School District. We look forward to the return to in person teaching when the services of substitutes will be needed.

Brentwood Union School District will no longer issue hard copy paychecks for monthly payroll.  We will be transitioning to Rapid Pay, along with all of Contra Costa County.    Click here to see the informational letter that was sent to impacted employees.
